On Saturday July 18, 2020 I had the utmost privilege of executing the wedding of Nadia and Hilroy after weeks of devising and organizing. As you could tell from the date, we are currently in the mist of recovering from a traumatic pandemic that has affected lives worldwide. Some may say, “summer is canceled” but not in my books.
It was a challenging and unforeseen circumstance, but I’m not a certified wedding planner for nothing. Through my training, expertise, and prompt thinking, I was able to successfully keep the wedding on schedule. Although there were some minor changes made to enforce social distancing rules like only having a ceremony with dinner and no dancing, the pleasant venue surprises outweighed the mishaps altogether. Especially the décor which I kept a secret to the bride until she finally walked down the aisle, filled with blossoming glistening flowers to accentuate her alluring wedding dress. Nonetheless, the sunny weather made the entire day enchanting as it was all held outdoors from start to finish.
The wedding was on time, the venue space for the number of people in attendance was perfect, and the food was marvelous. The staff and owner were all accommodating and exceptionally professional. Many were pleasantly surprised to be at a wedding during this trying time and enjoyed every minute of it. It was all held at one venue which was convenient, helping to make the wedding simple and sweet within the time allotted. Not to mention, the wedding photos were taken at the same venue on the golf course using golf carts to travel just a walking distance away. Talk about a hole in one indeed.
Every wedding I plan is done to perfection as if it were my own. This is a once in a lifetime moment for loving couples with no room for errors. If there’s a plan and budget, then I’ll handle the rest. I also have to thank the Photographer, Videographer, DJ, and the Officiate for their contributed help to making the day successful for the bride, groom, bridal party, and guests in attendance.
